The first annual SCYH Golf Tournament was a great success! The tournament was held at Orange Hills Country Club on October 1st and over 80 golfers attended the event. We had a spectacular fall day for the tournament and everyone had a great time. Golfers won a variety of prizes including SCYH merchandise.
The winning foursomes for the day were:
1st place foursome: Bill McNeil, Dan Gervasi, Jeff Oliphant and Ken Slowik,
2nd place foursome: Brad Conlan, John O’Connor, Nick Degennaro, Steve Jackson
3rd. place foursome: Steve Hunt, Brian Flynn, Jeff Forsca and John Gallagher
We would like to thank Felix Proto and his staff from Nini’s Bistro for creating a delicious buffet luncheon, Bobby Fantarella from Hot-Roc Productions for hosting the tournament raffle & auction (and providing many laughs) and Judy Smith from Orange Hills Country Club for her hospitality and hosting the event.
The day would not have been a success without our golf committee and volunteer group. We would like to thank all our volunteers and golf committee members for their hard work and making the event a success for Southern Connecticut Youth Hockey!
