Dear SCYH Hockey Parents:

The 2002-2003 hockey season is coming to a close. We have had a very successful year, with many of our Travel A teams heading for the Division 1 state playoffs, and hopefully to the regionals. Some of our Travel B teams are also heading to the state playoffs, we are hopeful for some State Champions.

In 2002-2003 we had  successful House & Clinic programs and our best turn out in many years for our November, Mite House Mike Festa Tournament, December, Squirt House Barry Sheehan Tournament and February, Frank Carrano Clinic Jamboree.

As we close out this season, we must begin to plan for the 2003 –2004 season by electing a new Board of Directors at our Annual Meeting. This meeting will be held at the Margaret Egan Center in Milford on Wednesday April 2, 2003 at 7:00pm. Pursuant to Article 111, section (2)c. of the SCYH BY-LAWS, this notice is being given to you. All members are invited to attend this meeting to cast your vote.

If you have the time and energy and would like to serve on the SCYH Board of Directors for the 2003 –2004 season, please submit a letter no later than March 20, 2003, indicating your interest in a specific position. Please mail your letter of interest to SCYH / Nomination Committee PO Box 424 Milford, CT 06460. Upon receipt of your letter a member of the Nomination Committee will contact you to discuss the responsibilities of the position which you are interested. The current SCYH Board of Director positions are listed below (all positions re-voted each year). SCYH is a volunteer, non-profit organization. We continually need new people with new ideas to get involved with our program.
